Solo bass flute with CD playback, c.4'40
The dialogues form a context for a solo by bass flute which deviates in and out of the musical conversation, including some improvised sections in which listening becomes the primary focus for the performer. Part of the enjoyment of the work is the subjective interpretation.  Composed 2009 rev. 2011

Bass flute.  c.4'00
This piece is an explortion of the subtle changes in timbre through technically demanding control of the bass flute.  It is inspired by the deep, air-filled sounds of the Japanese shakuhachi.  Composed 2010

Flute ensemble, c.5'0
An arrangment of our National Anthum, bookend and the majority of the work, being of new composition.  It is respectful and acts as a homage to the beauty of the Australian landscape. Chamber quartet for flute, clarinet, violin and cello, c.7'00-9.00"  
This piece is designed around processes of indeterminacy using cards as the basis for pitch material, each card from A through to Queen represents a different pitch based on a set theory (C=0, C#=1 and so on) while the King represents a wild card. Each movement is quite short and represents a different characteristic of a suit of cards - clubs, diamonds, spades and hearts. Composed 2011

Small Ensemble for flute, clarinet, horn, violin, cello, piano and percussion, c. 6'00 - 7'00.
This piece is an exploration of spectralism, defined as the predominant use of timbre for material and structure. The question is  - can spectralism inform an approach to improvisation?  Composed 2012.

This work uses pitch content from Indian and Japanese traditions, The Japanes concept of ma, or the space between events, is also an important device used throughout.  Composed 2010

The title of this work in Estonian, mean Static Landscape - an image of a cold, windswept but barren ice landscape being painted by four flutes of separate register.  Composed 2010
