Originally published as "Six Preludes".

The thought behind these six preludes is to provide a variety of musical ideas, thematic, harmonic and technical, that are appealing to performer, teacher and student alike. The keys follow the traditional cycle of fifths (as used by Chopin and Scriabin for example) though in falling fifths rather than rising fifths and with the added difference that the intervening minor keys are on the third of the scale (mediant) rather than the relative minor (submediant).
