This interesting work for violin and piano has never been published and on the manuscript, there was no composition date. It belongs to works composed in a Jewish style of which Phillips established herself as one of the leading composers in Australia in the twentieth century. The work is in ternary form and characterised by an interplay of melodies between the two instruments.
