Five Easy Pieces (for String Quartet)

String Quartet, Grades 3/4, also for more advanced students.

These short works are targeting stringed instrument players who are a couple of years into their studies as performers, and find themselves in a music instruction environment where students are encouraged to form and play in ensembles. The word "easy" is used in the sense that the melodic lines are not difficult intervallically or rhythmically and there are no daunting techniques employed such as harmonics and double stops.
