This setting requires a competent choir to do justice to the tuning of the contemporary harmonies. While tonal, the work hints at the modal nature of older settings of the same text. Similarly there is a chant-like feel to some of the melodies of the sections for the lower voices and the opening intonation.  Composed 2013
