Musings on a Bach Sarabande (brass band)

Brass Band, 4'30 to 5'20.  Grade 4.5-5. Appropriate for A Grade bands)

The mused-upon Sarabande is from J.S. Bach’s B minor Partitafor unaccompanied violin (BMV 1002). Musings uses the opening phrase from the Sarabande and fragments from the following Double, and is based on chord progressions from both (with digressions).
