Three movements for String Quartet

This work follows somewhat classical principles in its conception and structure. Much of the harmonic and melodic material of all three movements is derived from (i) a twelve note tone row; and (ii) the use of modes. The use of the tone row is not entirely strict, and it frequently appears in almost tonal contexts.
